Making money from Nigeria using paid online surveys is a one way of making money online Nigerians are interested in. It does work for some people online but it does not work for Nigerians.
But first what is a paid online survey?
It is an exercise done online to help companies focus on the real needs of their customers. It helps companies find out exactly what their users really need. It requires most times contacting customers and would be customers to get information.
A Paid online survey refers to paying respondents to fill in information on an survey.Sometimes to ginger people to take the survey cash, discount coupons, or others are given to the respondents.
2 reasons why Paid online surveys don’t work for Nigerians
It is Not for Nigerians
It is conducted to get information from customers or would be customers to help the company make plans and strategize how to grow their business. So if you answer one and you are not a customer or is not a would-be customer, then any information you give may not be useful to the company that owns the survey.
Now, most of the companies carrying out surveys online are outside Nigeria. They need information from people using their products or services in countries where they operate (that is the UK or the US). They may also need information from people in countries they are about venture into but any survey filled by Nigerians or anyone living in Nigeria valueless to these companies.(unless they are planning to venture into Nigeria)
No wonder, some of these e-books recommend hiding IP your address (if it is legal why would you hide your IP address).
They Are Mostly Scams
I have read online how people got scammed by so called online survey companies. These articles seen online may not be the best way to know if this services really work and it does not mean that genuine paid online survey companies do not exist.
Genuine ones and scam companies also exist. So if you are a Nigerian looking to make money online from this method , you might just get scammed.
