Unicity Review? A Key Factor That You May Not Have Considered
Friday, September 30th, 2011
So you’re thinking about joining Unicity International. It’s a fantastic established company and I am in it myself. However, I know there’s few things you should consider before joining.
See when I play football in high school and college I learned very quickly that if you want win at sports and in business, you play with winners. It just makes sense and I have the championship rings to prove it.
In network marketing, its no secret that the right team is a VERY crucial factor in improving your chances of success in this industry. The wrong team without the right resources will leave you stuck on your own calling your family and friends asking them to take a look at an opportunity. I don’t like doing that and in fact have not done that since I first started in my first company under the wrong sponsor in the wrong team.
So you’re probably thinking, “Ok I already know this get to the point.” Ok, Ok it’s coming. You might not know this, but if you’re not recruiting from laser targeted leads you are wasting your time convincing the unwilling. But who are those laser targeted leads? Existing network marketers and sales professionals already pre-disposed to your opportunity. Some of the veterans may hate me for exposing this secret without charging an arm and a leg. But, doesn’t it make sense to recruit from people who have already said yes to network marketing or sales professionals who are looking to build passive income?
You can try to draw water from a turnip by recruiting people who aren’t open to networking or even worse, scared to work the business if you want. But that’s like taking the stairs instead of the elevator
So here are benefits of playing with the right team right now:
- Access to these laser-targeted leads
- Training and scripts on how to recruit these leads
- Hi-Tech and Low-Tech Training on how to generate your own leads
- Recruiting tools and email ad-copy, so that all you have to do is rinse and repeat
- 20+ years of veteran experience that have successfully built large teams before
If you have decided to take advantage of the fantastic opportunity in Unicity doesn’t make sense to work with winners?I’m just saying…
In fact, I’ll show you my personal resources I used to rank and generate leads at the top of Google in my last company. Here’s what’s funny about that, is that the other people who had better designed websites etc. Didn’t rank as quickly for simple article I wrote and have people calling me still to this day.
Ok, so my point is get with right team and the right leaders give me at call, Art at 301-337-7586 or email me at art@saleswavemakers.com and simply say “I’m signing up, where are my leads.” Shoot from the hip. Or you can simply fill out your information here: WorkWithArt

How To Get 25 Leads/Day on facebook… without pissing everybody off!
Thursday, September 29th, 2011
Are you trying to build a network marketing business or drive traffic to an affiliate site but have no marketing budget to do it?
You don’t need to… if you have a facebook account.
That’s right. The solution is a lot easier than you think.
And chances are you’re already on facebook! So why not just leverage something you’re already using, and start making it work for your business.
Some say you can drive traffic to your site by just surfing the web. And I guess that’s true…
The problem is it consumes your whole day. And the leads you do generate are often lower quality.
But there’s a way you can establish a presence on facebook to not only generate quality leads, but also do it in a way that’s cool, friendly, and empowering.
If you’re interested, I’d like to recommend a great fr*ee training that will show you how to use facebook to help build your business fast!
And here’s the good news: you don’t have to be a spammer or bug people to death!
Truth is, most marketers don’t know how to monetize facebook. They get on and they just start screaming: “Look at me! Look at my business! Look at my com plan!”
Who cares!??!
Yada yada yada.
In one ear and out the other…
No one likes to be approached like that. And it just doesn’t work.
The thing is to approach facebook like you would a party or any other social event. The same holds true for all social media – twitter, myspace, better networker, etc.
Would you walk into a party, get introduced to someone and start spewing about your business?
Of course not!
So don’t do it on facebook either.
Be cool. Provide value. And build real relationships.
Get creative. Anticipate your community’s needs and then try and supply real solutions to their problems.
Once you position yourself as a solutions provider rather than a pushy sales-person, you’ll find that people really respond to that and you’ll start generating quality leads.
The training we offer shows you how to put these strategies into action today.
You can get a step-by-step blueprint for how you can spend only 30 minutes a day on facebook to create endless raving fans that are ready to buy from you with their wallets in hand.
It’s really just taking the core principals of Attraction Marketing and Personal Branding and applying them to your social media platforms and facebook in particular.
Once you see how easy this is, and once you start monetizing facebook, you’ll never look at social media the same again!

Take Care of Yourself: How Taking Time Off Helped Triple My Income
Thursday, September 29th, 2011
You may be thinking, “You’re crazy, I can’t do that!” but all of those things on your list will be there when you get back. But when you get back you’ll also have something else – clarity – which will help you tackle everything with a much clearer head.
I recently took some down time from my business, and it was the best thing I could have done. I practiced extreme self-care and it was the first step of several I took that eventually tripled my income. Here are a few of things I recommend to start taking care of yourself, which will in turn take care of your business.
1. Look at your calendar, pick a day and write in huge black letters O-F-F! This is not going to happen unless you mark it on your calendar and make it part of your schedule. Then when the day comes, do something for yourself to create some space. I got a massage, went shopping and bought myself some new clothes. I did not work.
I’ve really come to view appointments with myself as the ones I need to be the most mindful and most respectful of. So if you’re feeling like you’re overwhelmed, look at your calendar right now. Even if it’s three or four weeks from now, mark it down and focus on yourself.
2. Find an activity other than work to enjoy. I added a new level of exercise to my life. I was already doing cardio a few times a week, but I really wanted to step it up a notch. I wanted to add more strength to my body, so I added Pilates. And the cool thing about it was that I had to make a several month commitment to it. I prepaid for six months and it’s been great. One time I had just made a huge business decision and I was so stressed, but then I went to class and it helped me get back into my body and reaffirm that I had made the right decision and this was what I was supposed to be doing.
3. Be mindful of what’s going into your body. I’m not talking about dieting here, but being aware of what you’re putting into your body and how it’s making you feel. I started to pay attention to what was giving me energy and what was affecting my moods. If I’m stressed out about work and feeling turmoil, I don’t want to be feeling physically down as well. That’s just a bad combination, and I think we as entrepreneurs need to be at the top of our game. It’s not like we get to go into a cubicle and check out!
A few of the other things I did were to focus on sleep and I also got more bodywork (chiropractic) done. Do whatever works for you, whether that’s massage, meditation or breathing work.
If you’re attracted to conscious marketing and you’ve been guided to read what I have to say, you’ve probably at some point done many of these things or more, but maybe you’re not doing them now. I invite you to revisit them, and take time for yourself, and you will see positive results in your business.

Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Successful Entrepreneur?
Wednesday, September 28th, 2011
Entrepreneurs think differently than the 9 to 5 masses. It’s not that there’s anything wrong with being a 9-5′er or thinking like an employee-after all, good employees are more or less the bread and butter of what makes the world go ’round. But to be a successful entrepreneur does require thinking from a slightly different perspective.
It’s not about the boss…it’s about the bottom line.
You can’t be a successful entrepreneur or small business owner without thinking about the bottom line. One of the initial culture shocks that many employees who choose to become their own bosses face is that they now must make all of the financial decisions that go along with operating a successful venture (and they must make them correctly to avoid untimely failure).
Sure, as an entrepreneur, you’ll have all of the freedom in the world to be your own boss, but this requires a keen responsibility to keep the bottom line healthy, too. Entrepreneurs must understand that the buck stops with them and no one else…it is their game to win or lose!
Entrepreneurs don’t think about putting in the time.
Again, there’s a great deal of freedom that comes with giving up the 40 hour work week in favor of the freedom to work when you want, where you want, and how you want. This is probably one of the most popular advantages of being an entrepreneur. But there’s more to the story.
Entrepreneurs are blessed with flexibility-but building a profitable business does take time. In fact, it would be safe to say that almost all entrepreneurs work well over 40 hours per week. The good news is that the work is often second nature when you’re doing something you’re truly driven to do. As an entrepreneur, if you find yourself watching the clock, you might not be following the path that’s best for you.
Leverage is essential to solo-preneurs.
Starting a new business all by yourself requires thinking in terms of leverage. You can’t do it all, but you’ve still got to figure out the right balance-because ultimately, it all must still be done. The key is leverage. This means leveraging your time, finances, sanity, and more.
While not all entrepreneurs have a staff of employees on board, most do find it helpful and necessary to outsource non-core tasks on a frequent basis. As a solo-preneur, your time and talent is absolutely precious territory and must be used to the maximum. This means that typing up that sales presentation or spending hours updating the website might not be the best use of your time when an outsourced partner can do it for a fraction of what your time is worth to you.
And that brings us to one final note-oftentimes, as an entrepreneur, it’s easy to think in terms of lofty long-term financial goals. This is a good thing, as having a winning vision does provide the inspiration to keep moving forward. But in the meantime, it’s very important to assign a dollar value to your time. Thinking in these terms will help you make decisions on what tasks are best for you to handle or best to leverage and outsource instead.
Entrepreneurship presents many challenges to those not practiced in this way of thinking. Do you have what it takes?
You may never know unless you try!

Simple Home Business Ideas Anyone Can Use
Tuesday, September 27th, 2011
Are you tired of rushing day after day to a 9-to-5 job? When you are, possibly, you might want to check out one of the quite a few very basic home business ideas you will definitely discover if you look around.
There are many positive aspects of operating your individual home business instead of working for a corporation. You have a more adaptable routine. You perform in your private space and at your own time. Basically, you get a chance to spend more relaxing and quality time along with your close friends or family members.
Dependent on the number of hours you devote, the effort you expend, and other variables, it is possible to make all the funds as you want. You may possibly be much more relaxed with absolutely no boss to check on your work. Hence, you may well be capable of greater productivity and greater quality of work. As a result of the advent of the worldwide web, it is doable to try out several home business ideas on the net these days.
Precisely what is your area of expertise? Are you very good at cooking, gardening or sewing? Once you’ve identified your specialty, creating your enterprise is very much easier and simpler. Some individuals are excellent at baking and creating beautiful wedding cakes or cakes for different specific events.
Others might be great at baking numerous types of cakes such as chocolate cakes, banana cakes and orange cakes. They may even have their own unique recipes, maybe, handed down from one generation to another. Home made cakes can be best sellers if they taste far better than the store-bought assortment. On the other hand, you could bake homemade cookies or cup cakes for special events.
For individuals who are proficient at sewing, you possibly can offer your expertise for plain sewing or embroidery stitches. Simply purchase some colorful pieces of plain fabric. Then, create some embroidery stitches to produce eye-catching designs and colors. Following some cutting and basic sewing, you are able to market the embroidered material as coverings for sofa, table covers, cushion covers, cushion covers or other items.
Apart from selling products, you’ll be able to sell your services. If you’re a skilled accountant, writer, plumber, engineer or any other profession, simply set up your business enterprise on the net and offer your services as a freelancer. Do not be anxious about the likely earnings. Some of the aforementioned products would most likely cost a lot extra in shops, particularly embroidered products.
By buying in bulk, it is possible to save a lot of cash on raw materials. If you use a particular shipping firm, you can negotiate for exclusive discount rates on shipping charges. The key to a successful home business is the pricing of your service or merchandise based on good quality and customer service. Quite a few men and women choose to buy homemade cakes or other foodstuff at good prices, rather than buying at shops.
In the case of freelancing services, many businesses are outsourcing their work to reduce operational expenses. For this reason, you will find a variety of job options for those who are serious about starting their very own home based enterprise.

Innovative Answers To 3 Essential Questions Frequently Asked By Merchants Planning
Tuesday, September 27th, 2011
Most merchants understand that having an affiliate program can help them make more sales. Having your own affiliates promoting your products all over the internet means that you will generate more sales. When planning on launching an affiliate program, merchants have several questions regarding how they can structure their affiliate program so that they can easily recruit affiliates and retain these affiliates for the long term.
This article provides answers to some of the key questions frequently asked by merchants.
How can I structure my affiliate program?
The structure of your affiliate program will be mostly determined by the products and services you are selling and what you want your affiliates to do. Do you want your affiliates to bring you leads? Do you want your affiliates to generate sales, or will they be bringing in life-log customers to your business? It also helps to assess the affiliate programs offered by leading competitors in your niche. Affiliates normally compare the main affiliate programs in a niche. It is a good idea therefore for you to look at other affiliate programs in your niche and structure your program in such a way that it will be appealing to your potential affiliates.
Is it necessary for me to provide my affiliates with some marketing tools, and what tools should I provide them with?
Yes, you must have a wide range of marketing tools available so that your affiliates can choose what suits them best. Providing your affiliates with marketing tools will help them easily promote your products. As you know, marketing on the internet is competitive, and use of marketing tools is important. Also, there is a wide range of ways through which your affiliates can drive traffic to your website where you are selling your products. It is important that you provide your affiliates with what they need to drive traffic to their affiliate links and generate sales. Solo ads, banners, texts, classified ads and articles are some of the marketing tools that you can make available to you affiliates. Your affiliates can then select the marketing tools that they want to use, and they can also customize the solo ads and articles and use them to promote their affiliate links. It is also worth the investment for you to also provide brandable free e-books and reports in which your affiliates can put their affiliate links. It is a good idea for you to actually ask your affiliates the marketing tools which they need.
How much should I pay my affiliates?
There isn’t one specific answer to this, but the rule of thump is that you must be generous with your affiliates and pay them good commissions. The payment and commission structure of your affiliate program is determined by the products you sell as well as what other merchants in your niche are offering their affiliates. Remember that affiliates always look for the affiliate programs that pay them best before they sign up. So it’s a good idea to pay your affiliates commission that match or exceed other competing affiliate programs in your niche.
Before you start setting up your affiliate program, you must do the necessary research in terms of the suitable affiliate program and commission structure. The most important fact to remember is that affiliates look for the best program – one that pays well and provides marketing tools. Have all your questions answered before you develop your affiliate program. A well planed and managed affiliate program will attract many super affiliates who can cause sales to sky rocket and increase the merchant’s profits.

Insulated Tools and Gloves
Sunday, September 25th, 2011
Insulated tools, insulating blanket, electrician gloves and rubber insulating gloves are vital for people who install cables and come across dangerous sources of electricity very often.
That is why it is very important to buy good quality equipment when you are in the cable installation business or even when you are an electrician or simply at home trying to fix something.
A good example of a very appropriate product is the Arc Flash Hood with ear protection that is designed to protect your head as well as neck from any thermal effect related to an electric arc flash. This kind of equipment is particularly used by people working under live conditions like a fault finding for example. This one size hood has a lightweight design actually based on a baseball cap and includes a large and clear anti fog screen allowing the user to wear the hood at any time.
As the ears can be very vulnerable when working with live line cables and equipment, most hoods will cover this area as well. The apron portion of the hood provides two safety features which are that it will deflect any heat and molten debris but it will also greatly reduce the heat and toxic materials that could be inhaled by the person wearing the hood.
But it is equally important to wear insulated clothing and rubber insulating gloves to be properly protected against electricity. Rubber insulating gloves are particularly useful for workers who may come in contact with live or potential live cables or circuits.
Alternatively you can also buy rubber insulated sleeves for more security. These rubber sleeves provide an extended coverage of the arm from the cuff of rubber insulating gloves to the shoulder, thus protecting perfectly these areas from accidental contact with energised equipment or cables. The sleeves have a reinforcing fold at the cuff that will add less bulk to the cuff and fit into the glove more easily rather than a roller bead.
You can either take dipped sleeves that are manufactured like rubber insulating gloves but with porcelain forms dipped into a liquid rubber, dried and then trimmed, marked and cured. But you can also take moulded sleeves that are actually manufactured by either injection or compression moulding methods. The advantage of these methods is the actual ability to produce sleeves of type one or SALCOR type two synthetic rubbers. They provide the same high quality and electrical protection as natural rubber, with the added benefit of being resistant to ozone and ultra violet radiations.

Starting a business
Saturday, September 24th, 2011
Starting a business maybe one of the bravest things you ever do, even the steeliest of risk takers will have to take a sharp intake of breath before stepping out on their own, it’s no easy feat.
For many, they have no choice because circumstances dictate it to be the only option. Perhaps you’ve lost your job to redundancy once too often, the job markets just too saturated or you’ve had enough of your hard work being taken for granted and poorly rewarded. For what ever reason you’re starting a business or considering starting a business, I salute you.
So now we’ve got the back patting out the way, let’s get onto considering some things you’ll need. Below I’ve laid out a step by step guide to help you prepare for some of the eventualities that will likely beset you on this journey.
Have a detailed plan
Putting together a coherent business plan will serve many purposes in your start up journey, the core one being getting things straight in your own mind. The variables in starting a business are many and managing them all without writing them down is almost impossible. Additionally a plan will help you budget, make you look professional, serve as a guide to your bank if you are seeking finance and help your Accountant understand your needs. This will also act as your goal setting tool; use the plan to drive out your goals, deadlines and priorities. That way you can measure your own performance and those around you.
Do you have all the legislative bases covered?
Before you move on, be sure to think in the round when considering this question, i.e. do you need to inform the tax authorities before you begin to trade? Do you need a licence to trade? Have you picked the right trading vehicle, i.e. Sole Trader, Partnership or Limited company? Can you operate from home? Do you need to inform your local authority? A lot of questions here, but the message is, be sure you’ve covered all the legislative bases before you actually start to trade. I would advise engaging an Accountant before you start trading, legislative requirements differ from country to country and the complexity of your business, a qualified Accountant will normally be able to start you off on the right foot no matter where you are in the world.
Test you business model thoroughly before you proceed
No matter what business you are going for, its resilience and ability to trade will be vital to your survival, so before you go ahead stress test it. By this I mean try some of the following:
Ensure your product or service is in demand and at the right price.
Enure your productivity, demand and pricing level will establish a profit
Find out how much slack there is in your pricing before you break even, that way you’ll know how much you can discount by before you’re trading at a loss.
Look ahead and see how scalable your business is, so try and look at the size of the market and see how much investment you would have make to make to grab a bigger slice of it.
These methods apply to small business as well as big business, though complex they are important tools that will help you understand the potentials of your business.
For any business to succeed, your planning and it’s quality will be critical. Good planning, will above all help you to anticipate risks and allow you to prepare your strategies for dealing with them.
Whatever venture you are pursuing, I wish you luck with it, all the best, Tina.

Have You Lost Your Job? It’s Your Turn To Shine
Saturday, September 24th, 2011
This is the story of Dick.
The story of Dick is one millions of people are facing today. With a down economy, a lousy job market and many people in survival mode, the tale of Dick is one you may be able to relate to.
Dick was a good guy, a hard working guy and he always played the game of life by all the rules. Dick always paid his taxes on time, drove a modest car and was extremely loyal to his employer. If you can picture the typical corporate employee, Dick is the guy who would come to mind.
One day while at work Dick had received a bit of bad news. The company he worked for the past 14 years was laying off employees due to the sour economy and Dick had received his walking papers. He realized “I lost my job”; his paycheck was gone his job security vanished.
As suddenly as that, Dick was at a crossroad. What would he do about this most troubling situation? Would he rise above this economic crisis he was now facing and accept it as a signal to improve his life or would the situation rise above Dick making him a victim of circumstance?
Although Dick knew in the back of his mind his 9 to 5 job was little more than a treadmill, he developed an addiction to the steady paycheck. Unfortunately for him, the addiction to the paycheck was stronger than the desire to finally get off the treadmill.
Dick was not alone. Like millions of others, he updated his resume and went to work looking for another job.
The Question to ask is why would Dick or anybody else for that matter, want to go back to being an employee if no such thing as job security exists anymore? There is no such thing as job ownership when it can be taken away in an instant. It’s a mystery as to why anybody would want to waste so much time and energy on something that is never really theirs to begin with?
Dick always knew he deserved to get so much more from life but he did not have the drive to better his situation. Sadly, like so many other people, Dick just felt that getting more from life is more trouble than it’s worth.
Several months had gone by as Dick chased down one lousy job lead after the other. As more and more companies were downsizing and going under, there were suddenly more and more people competing for fewer and fewer jobs.
His unemployment benefits were running out and there were no promising job openings in the forseeable future anxiety was setting in. Dick was now in a far more dangerous position than he was before. Instead of just being stuck on a treadmill, he was now clinging to the past. Dick was hung up on the idea of job security when in fact job security was a thing of the past.
security or a steady pay. as an opportunity to change his life for the better.
All Dick needed to do was put some of this same effort into his own home based business and he’d be much further along in life than he is now.
